We start with premium wool or felt, steaming it just so, then hand-molding the crown on our vintage block until it feels right for your head.

Step 2: Pick Your Band

Next, you browse trims—leather, ribbon or braided cord—and we stitch each one in place by hand so it sits perfectly around your new crown.

Step 3: Add Your Accents

This is where the fun really begins. You select feathers, conchos or beads and we secure them with care to make your hat truly yours.

At The Custom Cowgirl, you build the hat yourself. I show you how to scorch, stitch, and feather a blank brim until it feels like a piece of you. Every burn mark records a memory, and the finished hat shouts creativity and courage.

The studio is a restored horse trailer in Franklin, Tennessee. I tow it to fairs, ranch weddings, and company parties, and I host Zoom builds for guests anywhere. Five percent of every sale helps shelter animals, proving that community and empowerment ride with compassion.
